Just remember you can't undo it later on. I suggest customizing good purples for yourself (or high req golds too) and selling that req 8 15^50 whatever. You'll save a bundle and do more damage in the long run with a 14^50 weapon customized, etc.

My friend refuses to customises any weapons on the basis that he might want to sell them. However baring in mind he still has the same high lvl weapons now that he had 6 months ago deems it redundant. Customise your best weapons for yourself sell everything else.

I customise everything Im going to use pvp or pve. If you want the gold sell it but if you want to use it customise it. Gold isnt that hard to get in the game I have to piss about with less effective weaponry

Ask yourself these few questions when considering customisation:
1. Would you rather do 30 damage per shot against Trolls or do 36 damage per shot against Trolls? 2. Would you like to do 80 damage against the other Guilds Monk or 96 damage with Punishing Shot? Edit: I think this is another question you could ask yourself too: 3. Should I sell this valuable weapon and use a Collector bow or use it myself and show off my wealth? If you really plan on keepinga nice weapon, then customize it.

I'll customize weapons I know I'm going to keep, because I like to use my PvE characters for PvP as well. I'm trying to limit myself to one weapon per chapter, or weapons I'm going to use in specific builds.
One thing, you really don't need to customize caster weapons, since the damage using them to attack is minimal compared to the skills you'll be using. |

I've never regretted customising anything because i've used them all. Except The Yakslapper.. I have better stuff now and I could have used that for trapping and stuff :d Don't customise caster stuff!
